AIRDRIE OVER 50 CLUB NEWSLETTER
The club is still operating on its summer scheduling; meaning most of the regular scheduled card games are on hold until September. It is to be noted that Crib is cancelled for Friday, August 16th.
Carpetbowling and Table Shuffleboard are still going strong; as is Floor Curling on Fridays. Please check the club activities board to ensure the activity is ongoing.
Please note: the Vice-President’s Summer BBQ is this coming Wednesday, July 31st at 4:30 pm. Hope you have purchased your ticket to attend. PLEASE NOTE: ALL ACTIVITIES SCHEDULED THAT AFTERNOON HAVE BEEN CANCELLED in order for the
organizing committee to set up tables as required.
Our Travel Director has organized a trip to Stage West to see the Patsy Cline show on August 21st and the sign-up sheet should be posted in the club sometime this week. As I understand it, the bus will be leaving the club at 4:30 p.m. and returning at
approximately 10:00 p.m. Cost is $80.00 per person.
There is no Community Links and Ken and Friends this month. Both will return in September. Enjoy the rest of the summer!
