The Table Tennis Group hosted a tournament on Saturday, January 25th. Congratulations to the winners: Doreen Boyd in the Ladies' division and Val Vaskevich in the Men's division. A big thank you to everyone who participated and volunteered to make this 2nd annual tournament a success.
Reminders:
· Darts are held at the Club on Thursday at 6:30 pm.
· New members, please check the black box near the iPad where you sign in for your membership card when you visit the club.
For February, Wednesday morning Arts and Crafts members should check the sign-up board for upcoming activities. We have some exciting events lined up! On February 5th, we'll be making Valentines and a Valentine-themed craft. If you're not into those, feel free to work on a Valentine-themed page in your Art Journal. The cost is $10 per person.
· Looking ahead, Wanda Marsh has sign-up sheets for an Acrylic Painting class, followed by a Watercolor Painting class, which will run through February and into March. Additionally, Beth David will be leading a drawing and painting project in February.
· Members are also welcome to drop in and join others for a relaxing time with coffee, coloring books, crocheting, knitting, or any other laid-back craft you enjoy.

February 5th – Community Links Presentation “Hearing Right Canada” This is a free presentation, but donations are gratefully accepted.
February 12th - Valentine’s Day Dinner & Dance – February 12th, 2025.“This event isn’t just for couples!”
$30.00 per person – Only 100 tickets available for Airdrie Over 50 Club members
Event Details:
· Doors open at 4:30 PM
· Dinner served at 5:30 PM
· Dance from 6:30 to 8:30 PM
· Cash Bar (Beer, Wine, and Coolers)

Important: Tickets are limited, so don’t wait! The headcount deadline is February 3rd. There are tickets still available, and you are required to being your own dishes and cutlery. If you have anything that you would like to donate for draw prizes it would be greatly appreciated.

February 22 – The next travel trip is to Deerfoot Inn and Casino for the American Rock Legends Tribute show featuring music of John Fogerty, CCR, and Bob Seger. Only one ticket is still available! If you're interested, please contact Jean Moorhouse at travel@airdrieover50club.com. For those already signed up, payment is now due. You can pay online, or via cheque or cash.
